HILOTHERM Clinic & Professional HomeCare
For the prevention of swellings, haematomas, inflammations and pain.
The controllable thermo therapy
Edemas and internal bleedings disrupt the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the injured or rather traumatised tissue which leads to disturbances of the blood circulation and an overheating due to inflammation.
HILOTHERAPY @ helps to reduce or prevent these symptoms .

HILOTHERAPY -a Thermal Healing Treatment
HILOTHERAPY® helps reduce swelling, inflammation, oedemas and haematomas after surgery or injury.
It stabilizes tissue temperature, lowers oxygen demand and accelerates natural recovery — while also reducing pain and the need for medication.
Ideal For
• Post-surgical recovery
• Facial, oral & maxillofacial treatments
• Sports injuries
• Oedemas & haematomas
• Pain relief & inflammation control
Used In
Traumatology, aesthetic surgery, ENT, implantology, oncology, dermatology, emergency medicine, physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

The Effect Of HILOTHERAPY on the Removal of Pollutants
In order to guarantee the transportation of pollutants through lymphatic drainage, the temperature of the tissue must also be reduced. It is of particular importance, however, that it is not reduced below 15ºC, otherwise lymphatic drainage is hampered.

Therapeutic Temperature Thresholds: Physiological Effects Chart
This educational material demonstrates the dual therapeutic mechanisms of HILOTHERAPY® in post-surgical and post-traumatic tissue management. The left panel illustrates oxygen requirement optimization, where controlled tissue cooling reduces metabolic demand by 50% through a 10°C temperature reduction, effectively balancing oxygen supply-demand ratios during the critical healing phase when tissue oxygen deficit typically occurs. The right panel details pollutant clearance enhancement through lymphatic activation, emphasizing the critical therapeutic window above +15°C to maintain lymphatic drainage functionality. The integrated approach addresses both metabolic stress reduction and waste product elimination, while the temperature gradient chart demonstrates the risks of excessive cooling that can compromise physiological healing processes including lymphatic transport, cellular metabolism, vascular circulation, and neural transmission."
